Christmas lights, festive traditions and magical moments for the whole family

Christmas is a special time in Runavík Municipality, with festive events and traditions taking place across the area throughout the season.

Highlights include the popular Jól við Løkin Christmas concert at Løkshøll, Christmas tree lightings around the municipality, and a festive fire truck bringing Santa Claus, gifts and Christmas cheer to the villages. Each year, the Christmas ship also arrives with Santa and his little helpers on board.

A visit to the charming Christmas village in Æðuvík is another seasonal highlight. Known for its magical atmosphere and beautiful Christmas decorations, the village is well worth a visit during the festive season.
