Laksatorgið is one of the big family events of the summer in Runavík Municipality. First held in 2001, it has grown into a popular annual tradition, bringing people together for a lively day in Glyvrar.
There is plenty to experience for all ages, with many activities free of charge. Visitors can explore a large market, enjoy a variety of food, live music and entertainment both on land and at sea. Bakkafrost also takes part in the festivities with special activities and experiences.
