Discover antiquities at Prestá & Ytri Skáli

For many years, the people of Skála have, with great interest, gathered information about the area around Prestá and Ytra Skála. The area is a true gem for the village and the municipality.

The guided walk begins at Prestá, where explanations are given about the plants and how planting in the area first began. The walk continues to Ytra Skála, where various ancient remains are explained. There will also be information about the work that local people have carried out over many recent years.

It is also possible to visit the local museum, where you can, among other things, learn more about the history of the village and the shipyard in Skála.

Extra: It is possible to add a visit to a local home with coffee and cake to the tour
