Shore Fishing & Sightseeing
Step into tradition with Faroese shore fishing
Step into a true Faroese tradition — shore fishing, or seiðaberg — where generations have relied on the sea for survival. In one of the fjords we visit, locals say all you need is a fishing rod and a pot.
Along the way, you’ll cast your line from dramatic cliffs and quiet shores, surrounded by raw island beauty. First time fishing? No problem—it’s easy, fun, and incredibly rewarding.
Expect to catch species like saithe, cod, haddock, and more—and maybe even the striking red Reyðfiskur.
This isn’t just a tour—it’s your chance to live the Faroe Islands, hear local stories, and maybe even catch your own dinner.
